Getting Started at Causeway

Causeway provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults age 18 and older, including older adults. In-person appointments are available in Kill Devil Hills, with telehealth throughout North Carolina.

Request an Appointment

Start by completing our Request an Appointment form or calling (252) 659-5133.

We will discuss your needs, availability, and whether Causeway’s outpatient services are a good fit. Submitting an inquiry does not confirm an appointment.

Complete Registration

You will receive instructions for registration through CharmHealth. Complete all assigned forms, questionnaires, and consents.

Required paperwork must be submitted at least 24 hours before your appointment. If it is incomplete at that deadline, the appointment will be cancelled and may be requested again after the forms are complete.

Contact Causeway before the deadline if you need assistance or paper-form options.

Confirm Payment Arrangements

A valid credit or debit card must be securely on file before booking, with a completed payment authorization. Payment arrangements will be discussed before your visit.

Prepare for Your Visit

Have the following available:

• A current list of medications, vitamins, and supplements.
• Medication allergies and relevant health history.
• Your preferred pharmacy’s information.
• Relevant treatment records requested by the practice.
• Questions, concerns, and treatment goals.

Your Initial Evaluation

We will discuss your symptoms, history, current treatment, and goals. Together, we will develop a personalized plan that may include medication, education, monitoring, or referrals.

An appointment does not guarantee a particular prescription or treatment.

You must be physically in North Carolina. Join from a private, quiet location with a reliable connection and a device that supports video and audio. Please do not attend while driving.
