Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Please Let Us Know When Your Plans Change
Advance notice allows Causeway to offer appointment time to another patient. This policy applies to in-person and telehealth appointments.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
Please contact Causeway at least 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are not charged a cancellation fee.
Late Cancellations
A cancellation made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a $50 fee.
Missed Appointments
An appointment missed without notice may incur a $100 no-show fee.
Courtesy Waivers and Unavoidable Circumstances
A first late cancellation or no-show may receive a one-time courtesy waiver, particularly when you otherwise have a good attendance history.
A fee may also be waived for sudden illness, an emergency, hospitalization, severe weather, or another circumstance the provider determines was reasonably unavoidable.

Repeated Missed Visits
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows are charged under the practice policy and may require payment before another appointment is scheduled. Repeated attendance problems may also require a discussion about how to maintain appropriate care.
Late Arrival
Arriving late may shorten your visit, require rescheduling, or be treated as a missed appointment. Contact the practice promptly if you expect to be late.
Incomplete Registration
Required registration forms must be completed at least 24 hours before the appointment. An appointment with incomplete required paperwork will be cancelled and cannot be rebooked until the forms are submitted.
