Meet Your Provider

Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I bring more than 20 years of nursing and military healthcare experience to my work, including service as a Navy Corpsman and Nurse Corps Officer. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Ambrose University and my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, specializing in psychiatric-mental health care. My experience includes outpatient psychiatric care for adults and older adults, along with hospital and community healthcare settings.

I founded Causeway to help individuals work toward feeling like themselves again—with support, understanding, and practical tools to move forward. I serve adults age 18 and older, including older adults, through in-person appointments in Kill Devil Hills and telehealth throughout North Carolina.

Care That Begins With Listening

When your mental health affects how you feel, connect with others, or manage everyday life, reaching out can feel like a big step. At Causeway, I take time to understand your experiences, concerns, strengths, and what you hope to gain from treatment.

Together, we develop a personalized plan that may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive therapeutic interventions, and education. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and informed by clinical evidence, with an emphasis on helping you understand your options and build tools that support your well-being.

The Meaning Behind Causeway

A causeway connects one place to another.
The name Causeway reflects the belief that mental health care can provide connection and support as you move from where you are toward where you want to be.
Treatment isn't about changing who you are. It's about better understanding what you're experiencing, identifying what may help, and working together toward greater stability and well-being.
